BARNEY ISAACS

Barney Isaacs was born in 1924 in Honolulu, the son of Julia and Alvin K. Isaacs, Sr. Renowned as a steel guitarist, he performed on many recordings and all the usual Waikiki night spots, including the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, Lau Yee Chai's, Niumalu Hotel, Don the Beachcomber's, Moana Hotel, Barefoot Bar, the Kahala Hilton (as Danny Kaleikini's steel guitarist) and many tours to the mainland. He also appeared on Hawaii Calls.
