KALANI CROCKETT

Ernest Kalani Cockett Jr. was born in Honolulu and attended Iolani, the universities of Hawaii and Washington and Columbia.

Kalani took advantage of his time in New York, appearing on Broadway and in national tours of West Side Story, Flower Drum Song, 13 Daughters and Around the World in 80 Days. He also appeared on TV on Ed Sullivan, Hawaiian Eye, Perry Como, Hawaii Calls, Hollywood Palace and in the films Hawaii and South Pacific.

This singer, dancer, actor, director and choreographer also worked as a special events director for the Hawaii Visitors Bureau, choreographed the Al Lopaka Show, the Polynesian Revue, as well as shows in most Waikiki showrooms, and also appeared with Danny Kaleikini, Ed Kenny, Marlene Sai, Beverly Noa, and Alex McAngus.
