YOU'LL NEVER FIND ANOTHER KANAKA LIKE ME

Since Don Ho made this song popular in the 1960s, the word 'kanaka' has assumed a slightly negative connotation. The song is regularly sung now substituting the word 'Hawaiian' for 'kanaka.'

You may go
I'll let you go
May God bless you
You'll be mine
wherever you will be
It's Hawaii to say Aloha' oi.
Oh you'll never find another kanaka like me
Oh no, you'll never find another kanaka like me.
